EVALUATION OF INSECTICIDE EFFECTS OF Ruta chalepensis ETHANOLIC EXTRACT ON MORTALITY, SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR AND OVIPOSITION OF Drosophila melanogaster (DIPTERA: DROSOPHILIDAE)
Journal ID : ALS-24-10-2022-5656; Total View : 483; Author : AMRANI Saliha, HABBACHI Sarra, BENHISSEN Saliha, REBBAS Khellaf, HABBACHI Wafa,
Abstract : The synthesis of pesticides has advanced significantly over the past century. Synthetic pesticides, on the other hand, have swiftly proven to be aggressive toward non-target creatures, such as helpful insects, animals, and people, in addition to their persistence in nature, which upsets ecological balances. This paper describes the toxic effects of Ruta chalepensis (Rutaceae) ethanolic extract on Drosophila melanogaster courtship and course of sexual behavior, mortality of Drosophila melanogaster larvae (determination of lethal concentrations and lethal times), and choice of oviposition environment and reproduction in this fly's adults. The plant's aqueous extract inhibits both mating and reproduction.

Responses of some Agronomical and Biochemical Parameters of of Peas (Pisum sativum subsp. Sativum var. sativum), exposed to Difenconazole
Journal ID : ALS-21-10-2022-5653; Total View : 283; Author : Bourouhou Mourad, Badouna Baha-edine,
Abstract : The problem of fungicides is multiple when they dissolve in water or in soil solution, causes a disruption of mineral nutrition, plants, which leads to severe oxidative stress in some cases and alters their biochemical state, ours contribution is to verify the effect of a fungicide Difenconazole, on some Agronomical and Biochemical parameters of Peas (Pisum sativum subsp. sativum var. sativum). Four treatment doses were chosen with control, namely Dose1 (0.6ml / l), Dose2 (1.2ml/ l), Dose3 (1.8ml/ l) and Dose4 (2.4ml/ l), for the control only using distilled water. The results obtained note that the values of Agronomical parameters after one month of development, such as dry matter of the leaves (DML), Number of flowers / plant and aerial part and dry root part of plants, are low for plants treated with high doses D3 and D4 and higher values for plants treated with low doses D1 and D2 compared to the control. On the other hand, About Biochemical parameters as Proline, MDA, GSH, activity of Peroxidase and GST, plants treated with high doses D3 and D4 recorded high values compared to the other plants of dose1, dose2 and Control, therefore more accentuated oxidative stress.
