Title : Profile of the consumption of food supplements in a Moroccan population case of the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra
Abstract :

Food supplementary benefits are a category of products objective of which is to supplement a normal diet. This research work allows to establish a contour portray of the consumer of food supplementary benefits in the population of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region. It is about an observational, prospective, cross-sectional study led over a period of eleven months. During the survey period 370 were included of which 282 consume (76%). We observed a male predominance as well as the predominance of age group 18-30 years. Among the major reasons for consumption: health benefits come first with (33.7%), and aesthetics (skin, hair, etc.) come second with (23.4%).
