Title : Effect of planting methods, planting depth and planting distances on technical characteristics and wheat yield
Abstract :The study aimed to identify the effect of seeder machine on wheat specification under SDBGR and SDBRO at different depth and ranges of planting distances . Two types of wheat planting methods (SMBGR and SMBRO) were tested under two depth (4 and7cm) and three levels of planting distances (8, 10, and 12 cm). The experiments were conducted in a factorial experiment under a randomized complete block design with three replications. The results showed that the SMBGR was significantly better than SMBRO in all studied conditions. The study included germination percentage, germination speed, plan vigor index, weight of 1000 grains, number of grains in spike, grain yield and biological. The planting depth (4cm) was significantly superior to the other level (7 cm) in all studied properties, while the planting distance at a range of 8 cm was significantly superior to other two levels (10 and 12 cm) in all studied conditions
