Title : Combination Active Compounds of Family Zingiberaceae as Anti-inflammatory by Insilico Cycloxygenase-2 (COX2) for Treating COVID 19 Symptom
Abstract :

Traditional medicine using plants, animal materials, mineral substances, serian (generic) preparations, or mixtures of these ingredients that have been used from generation to generation for treatment based on experience and applied by the prevailing norms in society are called jamu. The research objective was to determine the types of medicinal plants, the use of medicinal plants, the active compound content, and the potential of traditional herbal medicine as a fever-lowering bio-computation. This study used a direct interview method with a purposive sampling technique to determine the traditional herbal formula. We employed the software; AutoDock Vina Version 1.1 PyRx, PyMol Version 2.3.2.1, and Discovery Studios for phytochemical screening and molecular docking. Proteins were analyzed using COX2, while six ligands included Quercetin, Curcuminoid, Zingerone, Heyneanone, Zerumbone, and Sabinene. In this study, 22 types of medicinal plants found in Bangselok village, East Java, Indonesia. The Zingiberaceae family is a plant that often used as an ingredient in herbal medicine by the people of Bangladesh. Flavonoid compounds found in Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roxb), Lempuyang (Zingiber zerumbet (L.) JE Smith), Bangle (Zingiber purpureum Roxb), Temu Mangga / Pao (Curcuma Mangga Val), Temu Putih (Curcuma Zedoaria (Berg.) Roscoe.), Temu Giring (Curcuma heyneana Val. & V. Zijp). Based on the results of the phytochemical test, the docking results showed that Quercetin, Zingerone, Heyneanone, Zerumbone and Sabinene ligands were attached to domain A in accordance with the control of natural COX2 ligands, namely NAG and EDO, so it is predicted that they can be used as anti-inflammatory drugs. Based on the combination of active compounds that are recommended as anti-inflammatory, the plant combinations for herbal herbal medicine are as follows ginger with bangle, ginger with temu mango, temu giring with bangle and temu giring with temu mango
