Abstract :

Physician leaders are at the center of clinical service who will be equipped with a power to withstand various challenges which are evident at the time of emergency. The representation on systematic leadership training is lacking in medical curriculum and the critical role a doctor play as a leader is unrecognized. Present paper is focused on present understanding of medical education leadership, alignment of theories of leadership withy medical education and establish a systematic leadership model that has leadership skills and capabilities. Development of such capabilities requires sophisticated training and various pedagogical methods like experiential learning, mentoring and coaching
